| Wrestling is a man's sport. It is a sport of pain and endurance. A wrestler will not tap out but choose to endure the pain and show the opponent that he is tough enough to take it. In an extreme case where an injury is likely without a tap out, the tap out is acknowledged, but only with the pain hold relaxed, not fully released. Wrestling should never be stopped by a pin, a submission, or a 3-count. Wrestlers should always strive to show their opponent they can endure the pain for as long as the aggressor wishes to inflict it. This is truly a man's sport for men of endurance.
